B. We have some new promotions available for children, seniors and families coming up. Watch for them on our blogs and website.

C. Frame samples are in! To better serve our customers a more complete product, we have added some popular custom frames to our stock. If you haven't yet framed that portrait from 2007, stop in and we will help you get your portraits on the wall!

D. Tentatively we will be having a Open House for High School Seniors (to be) in early May. There will be lots of great deals and a drawing for a variety of prizes. Be sure to pass the word and look for downtown flyers.

E. We are working on a new website - look for it soon!

F. We are kicking around the idea of a Pet Beauty Contest at the studio as a fundraiser for local animal shelters (or their planning committees) with a possible Local Pet calendar sale with the net proceeds being donated to Pierce and St. Croix shelter committees. If you have any ideas, email me.

G. Lastly, we will be online over the next week but I'm not sure how much blogging we'll get to do - I hear WPPI is pretty busy crazy.

Have a great rest of the week!

Our heart goes our to the Dick Burke Family

As a DIE HARD bicyclist and TREK bikes fan, our heart goes out to Dick Burke's family, founder of TREK bicycles.

--- CONTENT TAKEN from VeloNews.com

The bike world is mourning the death of Dick Burke, the founder of Trek Bicycle Corp., who died Monday evening at age 73.

Burke founded the company during the 1970s bike boom, when he and his partners saw a need for high-end U.S.-made bikes. The company's first factory was in a red barn in Waterloo, Wisconsin and the company still makes many of its bikes in Wisconsin.

The privately owned company, now run by his son John, does annual sales of about $700 million and sells 1.5 million bikes a year under the Trek, Gary Fisher, Klein and LeMond labels. It supplied the bikes Lance Armstrong used to win all seven of his Tours de France.

Burke was often active in bicycle advocacy and in promoting the industry and sport of cycling.

Greg LeMond, who sold his bike brand to Trek in the early 1990s, called Burke a visionary.

"My heart goes out to the Burke family and the entire extended Trek family," LeMond told VeloNews.

"He was a visionary in the world of cycling and together with his son, John, built an incredible family business. I will always remember him as a man of integrity and he will be dearly missed."

It's been like forever

It's been forever since I've had a moment to blog and update everyone on what's been going on. It's been a hectic 6 months since we opened the new studio back in Oct. We've been so blessed with all of the High School Seniors, children, families, charity events, and weddings that have come through our doors in this short time.

Thanks so much to all of you for your love and support.

In the coming weeks (hopefully 2) we'll be unveiling an entirely new website and new branding. We partnered with a wonderful marketing firm to completely overhaul the look and feel, products and packages of the Brite Idea Brand. There are still a few things left to complete before the big unveiling.

Keep and eye on the blog for that big news in the coming weeks.

Well, off to bed right now.
